Terracle announced on the 22nd that it will participate in the “Korea ESG Eco-Friendly Expo”, which will be held from June 24 to 26 at COEX in Seoul, as part of the Plastic Circular Resource Solutions Pavilion.
At the exhibition, Terracle will showcase chemically recycled terephthalic acid (Cr-TPA) and ethylene glycol (Cr-EG) produced through its hydrolysis-based depolymerization technology, Terra-X.
While depolymerization facilities using methanol or glycol-based processes have already been commercialized overseas, the hydrolysis-based depolymerization method remains a new technology with no widely commercialized cases yet.
Through the exhibition, Terracle plans to introduce its technology and products to both industry professionals and the general public, while also exploring collaboration opportunities related to circular resource solutions.
